How often should I replace the refrigerator water filter?
The fridge water filter should be replaced every 6 months or sooner if water flow is reduced.
Is it safe to drink water from an expired water filter?
No. An expired water filter may cause accumulation of bacteria and do harm to your health. Also, scale may accumulate in the tube which will damage your refrigerator.
Do I need to lubricate the gaskets on my filter and receiver?
No. All of the filters we manufacture can sit on your shelf until you need them. We recommend that you keep them in a cool, dark, dry location.
